    Greg, um, isn't it Democrat Party...I'm so confused.

    Greg, we need the pregame story!

    Will this be a steel cage match? Will both teams be there in full or just the presidential candidates? Will Palin arrive naked from the waist up slathered in oil? Will there be a hard-on contest? Will it be based on length, width or ability to pick up dimes? Will Palin be excluded from that or given a score represented of the mean of the scores of the other participants in the hard-on contest. Will there be a belching contest?

    I'm heading over to the liquor store in a few. To probably get a gallon jug of something cheap and intoxicating. Suggestions on words to drink to? I'm thinking "maverick," "9/11," "POW," "Nuclear," ....

    @Rptrcub

    "economy", "massive", "don't get it", and, of course, "my friends".

    Double-chug if Obama brings up Palin....

    As he's gotten older, Alan Alda has become a live, breathing, human metaphor for an enlarged prostate, hasn't he? I have nothing against the guy, but...well, look at him. His very posture screams "I have to pee every 15 minutes"...

    I'm so happy. I may be able to particpate in a live blog. Unless it conflicts with the AFL Grand Final (Read Superbowl).

    Such bad timing by the candidates....
  • Thank you, Teddy · 1 year ago
    @Jamie Sommers:
    IThe tears came for me after this:
    "He received a visit that day from Chilean President Michelle Bachelet at his home.... Bachelet presented the senator with her country's highest civilian award — the Order to the Merit of Chile — in recognition of his opposition to the country's 1973 government overthrow and his work to cut off military aid to dictator Augusto Pinochet."
    For all his many faults, Teddy is still part of the best this country ever produced.
